During the rainy weekend I decided to start the Hunger Games, have you read it? Its one of my new favorites, I didn’t quite finish it yet but I can hardly put it down, between drop off, work, pick up, homework, dinner, and bath time, its a challenge to sit down and read, although I love it when I get there! I am anxiously in the middle of the “games” and can’t wait to find out what happens to Peeta and Katniss? How is Prim doing? I know I will finish it soon, we have plans to see it this week! Check out the details below, if you are up for a fun midnight showing at Cinepolis then read on, and check out their Facebook page for more details… {Tickets available on the Cinepolis Website}

WHAT:  The Hunger Games fans from all over will be lining-up at the Cinepolis’ Carlsbad and Del Mar locations to catch a special midnight premiere of the anxiously awaited novel-turned-feature-film before it opens to the general public. Movie goers will be decked out as their favorite “tributes,” walking the red carpet into the premiere as if they were headed to the Capitol to fight to the death in the 74th Hunger Games. Upon arriving at the event, viewers will enjoy red carpet photo opportunities, costume contests and custom created menu items such as “Tribute Sliders” and the “Post-Apocalyptic Combo.” As the clock strikes midnight, all of the theater auditoriums will premiere the movie with starting times taking place every 15-minuties. In addition to in-seat food service in every auditorium, two auditoriums reserved for guests 21-years and older will have in-seat beer, wine and “Survival Drink” service. Who can resist a Vodka Alliance or Nightlock cocktail?

WHEN: Hurry to the Capitol (otherwise known as the Carlsbad and Del Mar Cinepolis locations) on Thursday, March 22 and let the games begin! Screenings will start at midnight as Thursday night turns into Friday, March 23.

WHERE: Cinepolis La Costa: 6941 El Camino Real Carlsbad, CA 92009 or Cinepolis Del Mar: 12905 El Camino Real  San Diego, CA 92130

I am SO excited about this theater, since reclining with drinks is the favored past time of tired moms! Maybe I can’t get my friends to go dancing or hiking with me, but everyone is up for laying down and drinking!!
