Our Aspen Vacation

It’s been much too long since the last time I chatted with you. We returned home from our amazing trip to Aspen and have been since trying to get back to the routine of work and school, blah blah blah! It was honestly the best trip ever. We played, skied, ate amazing food, {thank you Papi for cooking nearly every night, and morning!}, played some more, browsed the shops, had many snowball fights, built a snow turtle, had wine {or hot cocoa} by the fire, and laughed a whole lot! It was one of those trips that while leaving you are already planning your return next time. This year was a bit different than years in the past because we drove. I was really nervous about driving so far with 3 kids. We have flown many long flights with the kids but always felt that was easier because they can get up and walk around. Driving was a peice of cake! A cake that we are happy to make every year from now on! The amount of money we saved driving {now that we buy FIVE tickets its crazy expensive}, we were able to spend on lift tickets, and a few very fun dinners out. We are glad to be home and loving to spend time with our family and friends, but looking at these pictures I do wish we could do this more often…
